Overview

Surrounded by tropical vegetation, this resort is located on the sandy beaches of Ao Prao. It offers spacious accommodation with a private balcony overlooking the sea.

Guests of Ao Prao Resort can take a dip in the outdoor pool or engage in water sports such as canoeing or snorkelling. Hiking and biking trails are also available. The resort provides a free shuttle service from Koh Samet to Seree Ban Phe piers.

Fitted with wooden flooring, air-conditioned rooms at Ao Prao Resort feature contemporary Thai décor. In addition to tea/coffee making facilities and a minibar, a TV with satellite channels and a DVD player are included. Private bathrooms come with a hairdryer.

Open until midnight, the resort’s restaurant serves authentic Thai delights and international dishes, accompanied with panoramic views of the sea. In-room dining is possible. A wine cellar and a bar are also available.

Situated on the west coast of Koh Samet Island, Ao Prao Resort is an hour’s drive from Pattaya City and a 2.5-hour drive from Bangkok City.

Important information

Please note that room rates are inclusive of admission fee to Khao Laem Ya Mu Koh Samet National Park and shuttle boat transfers to/from Koh Samet.

Shuttle boat schedules are as follows:

From Seree Ban Phe Pier (mainland) : 11:00 / 13:30 / 16:00
From Koh Samet : 10:00 / 12:30 / 15:00

Guests who miss the shuttle can hire a private speed boat at THB2000 per boat per trip.
